An interesting note: 
Every Year the proceeds from the Childrens Hospital Aid Society Annual Holiday Luncheon are allocated to a specific cause. 

In 2011, the CHAS Holiday Luncheon provided funding for a program that allows many children, that may otherwise "fall between the cracks", to have an opportunity.

The CHAS Fund for Youth-at-risk at the Calgary Learning Centre, assists at-risk youth between the ages of 12 and 25 that live in Calgary and the surrounding area.

The fund helps by providing assessments and interventions that create successful outcomes for youth who are otherwise likely to drop out of school, or engage in risky and/or unlawful behaviours. Youth are able to access psychologists and physicians for assessment and treatment for underlying disorders such as ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), depression and other emotional or health issues.
